- Be a partner. Walk alongside a family as they make changes in their life with Mercy
Ministry providing encouragment and accountability.*
- Meet with Families. Listen to the story and circumstances of families and discern
what the needs are and how Mercy Ministry is supposed to be involved.
- Food Items for the Gateway food pantry. (Cuurent list of needs
posted at the Mercy Ministry table in the lobby.)
- Gift Cards to grocery stores, gas stations and Walmart. The Giving Tree is on the
Mercy Ministry table every Sunday morning and it lets you know what gift cards are
needed.
- Give money to the 6:8 Fund. This is a fund specifically designated for the acquiring,
purchasing and remodeling of homes to accomplish the purpose and vision of Mercy
Ministry in creating a neighborhood of transitional housing around Salem Court in
Kingsridge.
- Give money to Mercy Ministry. Money given to Mercy Ministry in general will be used
for benevolent purposes in helping families take care of their needs: utilities,
rent, medical costs, etc.
*These needs are relational opportunities that may require a long
term commitment and weekly or bi-weekly meetings.
